Key Negotiation Skills Training

It is not uncommon for those of us in the business world to find ourselves having to deal with negotiations in the workplace. Business development negotiations often center around sales contracts and proposals. Marketing negotiations revolve around budgets, advertising campaigns, internal commitments and vendor relationships. Information systems negotiations focus on technology budgets, resources and project details and deadlines. We teach the essential concept of principled negotiations – one that seeks to build a mutually beneficial outcome for all parties involved. Our skills-based negotiations training workshop teaches participants how to focus on common interests while building relationships. The training class teaches participants how to structure deals that lead to a “win-win” while avoiding shady tricks and negotiation tactics. Structured as a participatory negotiations skills training, the seminar utilizes role playing, personal assessments, group exercises, discussions and training modules to reinforce the learning process. Via the Key Negotiation Skills training program, participants will be prepared to handle nearly any negotiation situation and will understand how to utilize newly learned skills that lead to success.
