The Chicago Bridge & Iron Company (CB&I), which designs, engineers and constructs some of the world's largest energy infrastructure projects, has selected The Negotiation Training Institute to deliver a series of custom negotiations training seminars in several locations. NTI has conducted negotiation training sessions for CB&I, in the past, customized for the client’s needs and focused on purchasing and procurement, project management, and on influencing negotiations. NTI has worked closely with CB&I to develop customized training to meet the training goals of the client and the specific need of the participating groups, and CB&I has met with such success that they requested another series of the same course for their project managers.
NTI Win-Win Negotiations Experts and Senior Level Training Instructors will lead customized Win-Win Negotiations training for CB&I project managers in several Texas cities. Attendees will enhance their negotiation skills by learning methods for handling offers, planning and managing requests for concessions, and neutralizing manipulative tactics. Participants will come to understand the importance of principled negotiations to long-term business relationships, and improve their ability to negotiate in any situation. These sessions will specifically address the needs and concerns of project managers handling change orders and scope creep, as well as universally applicable negotiation skills.
